Oklahoma Smoke BBQ
About us
Welcome to Oklahoma Smoke BBQ, where the flavors of the past meet the excitement of today. Our journey to the heart of Historic Stockyards City is more than just the opening of a new location; it's a continuation of a rich Oklahoma tradition.
Historic Stockyards City has been the beating heart of Oklahoma's cattle industry since 1910. This area became the epicenter of cattle trading in the Southwest, with the Livestock Exchange Building-now our home-serving as its hub. For over a century, cowboys, ranchers, and traders gathered here, driving the region's economy and shaping its character. The streets echo with the stories of hard work, community, and resilience, values that we hold dear at Oklahoma Smoke BBQ.
Oklahoma Smoke BBQ started the way all good things in Oklahoma should—around a backyard smoker, with friends, family, and a whole lot of food. What began as a small group cooking to help others turned into a full-blown community mission, and eventually, a restaurant that locals could call their own.
Our first home was right in the heart of Old Town Moore. We built it with our neighbors—barn wood walls, donated signs, tailgates on the ceiling, and even a Nerf gun wall. We turned the old drive-thru into a wedding chapel because, well, in Moore, good BBQ and big life moments just go together. This is where we learned that food isn’t just about eating—it’s about connecting with people, celebrating traditions, and making memories.
Today, whether you’re eating breakfast in Moore, grabbing lunch, or calling us to cater your big day, you’re getting more than a meal. You’re getting a piece of Oklahoma’s story—smoked slow, served with heart, and rooted in the communities that built us.
Welcome to Oklahoma Smoke BBQ. Pull up a chair. You’re family here.
